Latin America Regional Director

Juan Carlos is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of dedicated service in the public sector, specializing in strategic information management and national security investigations. Currently, he serves as the Judicial Police Coordinator at the Special Administrative Unit of Migration Colombia. Throughout his career, Juan Carlos has demonstrated exceptional leadership, supervision, and problem-solving abilities, contributing to significant organizational improvements and resource optimization.

Juan Carlos has held several key positions, including Director's Assistant for the Andean Region and Head of Judicial Police and Shift Supervisor at Migration Colombia. He spent 12 years as a detective with the Administrative Security Department (DAS), working in both the Caldas sectional and at the central level in Bogotá.

Educational Background

Master's Degree in Advanced Studies, Terrorism Analysis, and Strategies from the International University of La Rioja in Spain.

degree in Business Administration and a Technologist certification in Business Management from the San José University Foundation in Bogotá.

Criminalistics and Judicial Investigation by the Colombian Institute of Labor Training (INCOL)

General Santander School of the National Police of Colombia and the Higher Intelligence Academy AQUIMINDIA - DAS.

Recognition 

Recognized for his unwavering commitment and professional excellence, Juan Carlos has received numerous accolades, including the “Brigadier General Ricardo Charry Solano” Medal in 2020, the Counterintelligence Shield of the Army in 2022, the Intelligence Shield of the Army awarded by B-2 of the Sixth Brigade in 2010, and the Intelligence Shield from the Administrative Security Department (DAS) in 2004.

Its agents worked in the shadows of a nation under siege, tracking cartel networks, infiltrating insurgent movements, and coordinating with international intelligence partners.
